Shore Line: Classic Week is fine hook for Euro cruise

The annual Classic Week of the European Classic Yatch Union (ECYU), held on the south coast of the island of Fyn, in Svendborg, Denmark attracted more than 200 boats from Scandinavia and Germany during mid-July, 2003. The island, still remote to Americans, has all the elements to attract cruisers, and remains a mecca for holidaying Baltic sailors, has evolved from shipbuilding to wind-generator assembly and other technology jobs.
