Should birth control pills be sold over the counter?

Article Abstract:

The argument for over-the-counter availability of birth control pills includes the fact that the pills are a simple product and there is no reason from a scientific standpoint to restrict them. Those opposed, however, argue that women need counseling on how to use the Pill.
