Spectator spontaneity: a lost art or is electronic prompting required?
Article Abstract:
Spontaneous action is no longer expected of sports fans. They are told when to cheer and when to boo. Between instructions, the music and electronic noise are so loud that conversation has become impossible. It is time for fans to demand the right to think for themselves.
