The Vintage and Two-Stroke world Championships held at Southern California's Glen Helen Race, the eighth-annual event included the traditional vintage classes and modern two-stroke classes. Racing celebrities consisted solely former factory riders Bruce McDougal and Mike Runyard along with two combatants, former 125cc supercross front runner David Pingree and 17-year old Adam Chatfield.

Masterbike 2005

The test results of various bikes that participated in the sole 750 at Master Bike 2005 held at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain with reference to their torque, horsepower, and top speed are presented. Some of the bikes include Honda CBR600RR, Kawasaki ZX-R, Suzuki GSX-R600, Triumph Daytona 650 and Yamaha TZF-R6.

Article Abstract:

The latest middleweight race motorcycle models of six firms were performance-tested to select the best among them. The contenders were Ducati's 748, Honda's CBR600F4, Kawasaki's ZX-6R, Laverda's 750S Formula, Suzuki's GSX-R600 and Yamaha's YZF-R6. YZF-R6 was selected as the overall winner.
