Heavy beer, light heart: draft may rival the vine
Article Abstract:
Researcher John D. Folts discovered that beer that is brewed rather than colored dark may contain as many flavonoids as red wine and at least three times more flavonoids than light-colored beer. Flavonoids prevent blood clots by inhibiting platelets.
