Sailing along Lake Superior proved to be an adventure which included kayaking to explore the shoreline of the Slate Islands. The islands provides beautiful sights of unusual rock formations and exotic animals such as the caribou, loons and nuthatch.

Article Abstract:
A couple discovered that cruising is not fun because they cannot use their boat to approach the shore for a better view. They finally opted for canoes and later for the Beachcomber which is a full-size liveaboard cruiser which draws only 18 inches.
