Article Abstract:
Ginny Ruffner was an internationally-recognized glass sculptor when she was involved in an automobile accident at the age of 39. Ruffner's brain was injured and there were questions as to her mental capacity. However, she slowly regained her creative abilities and is again sculpting.

A family of friends
Article Abstract:
A group of women friends in Eugene, OR, is described. The group, called the Bag Ladies of the World, was started by Ellen Weaver, Ruth Atcherson, and Martha Snyder, and has developed into a circle of lifelong, supportive friendship.
