A computer analysis of 20 top PGA putters by the Academy of Golf revealed several common characteristics: a reverse-overlap grip; a comfortable 12-inch spread stance; a minimal knee bend; ball positioned in-line with the forward armpit; and a square clubface at impact and follow-through.

Ladies: chip like a champ

Perfect A-line-ment

It is very important that a golf ball is properly placed before each putt. It is worth drawing a line on the ball to assist in squaring the putterface.
