Aging male professional golfers can look forward to joining the Senior Tour when they can no longer stay competitive in the PGA tour, but women do not have that same option. Many women professional golfers are faced with an uncertain future when they begin to realize that their golf career is over.

Golfer Tom Jenkins has performed well on the Senior PGA Tour. He showed good consistency in 1999, and also won at the Ball Atlantic Classic in Avondale, outside Philadelphia, PA.
