Woman tennis player Steffi Graf reasserted her dominance during the 1996 Wimbledon Tennis Tournament while Richard Krajicek dominated the men's championships. MaliVai Washington became the first Afro-African finalist since Arthur Ashe in 1975. Other highlights of the tournament are discussed.

The ultimate sibling rivalry

Tim and Tom Gullikson became Wisconsin state champions and then lettered in tennis at Northern Illinois University. Both are successful coaches and handle such players as Pete Sampras and newcomer Todd Martin. The sibling rivalry between the twins remains, but the brother-bond is stronger.
