The 1998 Newsweek 24 Hours of Canaan cycling competition was held in Davis, WV. Organized by Granny Gear Production, Lowrider Promotions and Trilife Sports International, the event pits a number of cyclists in a relay race.

The TransAlp Challenge 2000 was an 8-day mountain bike race that began in Mittenwald Germany, and finished in Riva del Garda, Italy. One of the participants describes his experiences in the race.
