Four new faces for council
Article Abstract:
Four men are admitted to the council of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. One of them is David Chassels whose background in corporate finance provides him the ability to address issues in both professional and business viewpoints.Another is Andrew Christie, a tax partner at Arthur Andersen and Co. As a council member, he believes his role is to represent all members, specifically tax specialists. On the other hand, the third new council member, Grenville Johnston, is the delegate of general practitioner members. The fourth new member is Tom Hughes. With experience in insolvency and corporate recovery, he faces the responsibility of addressing issues concerning the insolvency sector.

World champs

The World Track Championships, which began in 1983, have been highly successful and plans are being made for the Aug 1995, Goteborg, Sweden, competitions. The competitions will receive greater television coverage than normal, with three networks dividing the coverage.
