Alcohol abuse and job hazards
Article Abstract:
Job hazards significantly correlate with beer abuse. However, job hazard parameters show significant negative correlation with wine and liquor abuse. This is possibly due to beverage choices of blue and white collar workers. The study also indicates mutual causality between job hazards and beer abuse. The data were taken from Quality of Employment Survey, and the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey II. The economists feel that low beer tax may be responsible for higher rates of beer consumption.
