Cancellation policy curbs abuse of paratransit service

Article Abstract:

The policy of service cancellation was implemented by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority to check the transit service abuse by the customers. The customers who miss scheduled trips face suspended services based on the total violations made by them. Valid reasons are always considered and all the customers have a right to appeal before any suspension goes into effect.
