Computer-based training for food services workers at a hospital
Article Abstract:
Interactive computer-based safety instruction (CBI) given to 73 workers in the food services department of an urban hospital is discussed. Knowledge, location, and work practice improvements are large and demonstrate that the benefits of CBI extend to the workplace floor.

A detailed analysis of musculoskeletal disorder risk factors among Japanese nurses
Article Abstract:
Results of an epidemiological study to ascertain susceptibility of Asian nurses, especially those in Japan, to musculoskeletal disorders are discussed. Risk factors at home and work which lead to incidence of such disorders are also identified.

A study investigating the knowledge of occupational hazards specific to the jobs done by nurses, managerial mechanism which can resolve these hazards and the gaps prevalent in self-protective safety education, is presented.
