Connex expands global network with rail operations down under

Connex, a French-based transportation firm, having multiple bus and rail operations in 22 countries, received a contract from the Melbourne Commuter Rail Network in Australia, which it regards as its largest client. According to Connex officials, the company has a lot of potential to grow in the US, as public transport has to be developed more to tackle the problems of traffic, congestion, air problem and security.
