Designs benefit from service experience

Article Abstract:

Vessel operators typically encounter problems and difficulties which designers and builders fail to foresee. Condor Ltd., a UK-based operator of high-speed craft, has had extensive experience with wavepiercer catamarans over the company's 20-year history. The company worked with the manufacturer as well as three different waterjet suppliers during the design and production of its newest vessel. As a result, the company's Condor 10 has many features which eliminate the technical shortcomings of its earlier craft.
