Dubai Drydocks, the largest ship repair facility in the Middle East, started its operations in 1983 and was designed to accommodate oil tankers with a capacity of up to one million tonnes deadweight. The yard has made immense progress in last 20 years and it continues to enjoy a major share in the world ship repair market.
