Expansion of transportation seen in Moscow, St.Petersburgh

Article Abstract:

The Moscow Metropolitan's expansion plans are discussed. It plans to build 25 new stations spaning over 25 miles. This offers good business opportunity to many U.S. companies to assist Russia in the expansion and improvement of it's transportation infrastructure. Privitization has also contributed to the rapid development of the Russian mass transit system. To keep up with the rising demand of the urban transport facilities in Russia, both Moscow and St. Petersburg have received funding directly from the World Bank.
