Ship engine builder Cummins has come up with a new engine model called KTA38M2 which is an upgrade of the KTA38M model. The company claims that the new model has a power rating that is 28% higher than its predecessor. It likewise is more fuel efficient, dependable and lasting. Among the improvements is the gallery cooled piston which results in lower temperature thus, making the piston last longer. Likewise, the existence of chrome piston rings imparts durability to the system.
