Hospital ship enters service
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the construction of a hospital ship by the Spanish Gijon Shipyard are discussed. Particular attention is given to the aim for which the ship was built, namely to provide support to the Spanish fishing fleet and to ensure the fishermen' health and safety standards.

Hainan rail link launched
Article Abstract:
China's first rail ferry service was launched in January 2003 with the introduction of Yue Hai Tie I Hao. It was built to link the main land railway terminal at Zhanjiang, in Guang dong Province to Haikou, the provincial capital of Hainan Island.
