Article Abstract:
The International Bunker Industry Association dismissed proposals on regulation regarding the supply and carriage of material safety data sheets (MSDS) as flawed and unworkable. Don Gregory, former IBIA chairman, described the proposals as abusing the purpose of MSDSs. The association is due to suggest an alternative proposal on MSDS at the Marine Safety Committee in Copenhagen.
