Pan-United shows Eternal strengths

Article Abstract:

Pan United Shipyard's completion of two 17,500 dwt oil tankers has served as a testament to the Singaporean firm's competitive ability in newbuilding. One of the ships, named 'Eternal Oil 1', was delivered by the firm to its owner Asian Eternal Shipping in Apr 1998. The tankers made by Pan United are specifically designed to operate in the areas of Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. The tankers were designed in such a way that the tanks were segregated into three groups to carry three different grades of crude oil.
