Prevention of same level falls: a more global appreciation of this type of accident
Article Abstract:
Research was conducted to review previous studies on the prevention of same level fall accidents and to demonstrate that these studies have proven the necessity of a more global approach to the prevention of same level falls. Consequently, since the 1990s, studies conducted on this subject have considered a much broader range of events that take place before and after the loss of balance. After assessing the issues surrounding the progress associated with slip resistance measurement, an overview of research on perturbed locomotion and posture is discussed.

Factors affecting work-related injury among forestry workers: a review
Article Abstract:
A study exploring the factors affecting work-related injury among forestry workers in New Zealand was conducted using data garnered from international literature. Results indicate that a majority of the literature deals with injury related to the operation of chainsaws and hardly any deals with accidents stemming from tree-planting and pruning. Also, there is a scarcity of research done on the subject of mental workload.

Drug testing as a strategy to reduce occupational accidents: a longitudinal analysis
Article Abstract:
A study exploring the efficacy of preemployment drug testing on the reduction of occupational accidents was conducted using information from 48 Wisconsin business facilities over a period of five years. Results indicate that preemployment drug testing did not significantly reduce occupational accidents. However, there is evidence that post-accident drug-testing does reduce occupational accidents.
