Article Abstract:

The history, mechanism, uses and the guidelines for implementing peer review are discussed. Peer review is a system for the exchange of information between peers, decision makers and the project executors. It helps in tapping the knowledge and experience of all the people at work, circulates useful information quickly, and puts an end to the communication barriers.
