Naval architecture is the profession wherein engineers apply their knowledge to conceive, design, test, build and operate ships. Over the years there has been little change, but now with the advent of computers and high speed processors and easily available software to analyze data, the art of designing is getting lost and now vessel designs are made within constricts of regulation with the help of high-tech design tools.
