Deep Sea World
Article Abstract:
Aquarium, Deep sea World opened on Apr 9, 1993 in Fife, Scotland. The exhibition features a 112 metre acrylic tunnel through more than one million gallons of water. Over 5,000 fish include about 100 species found around Britain's coast. Other attractions include interactive displays. Chief Exucutive Philip Crane stresses the educational aims of the attraction. However, facilities for corporate entertainment are available.

David Lloyd acquires Newcastle club
Article Abstract:
Castledene, manager of the Castle Farm Tennis Centre in Newcastle, England, has been purchased by David Lloyd Leisure. The centre will be open to the public as a pay and play facility at certain times. David Lloyd Leisure will invest 1 million pounds sterling in new facilities, including a swimming pool and a creche.

Turnover up at Scottish & Newcastle
Article Abstract:
Brewer Scottish and Newcastle reported a turnover of 1.35 billion pounds sterling for the first six months of 1995, up 33% from previously. Figures were boosted by the success of holiday village Center Parcs, where operating profit rose by 4%. Profits for Pontins were also increased from 1994.
