End of term for parliament

Article Abstract:

The session before the new session to begin in November had new announcements and recommendations in areas of gambling, liquor license, tourism, and drugs and sports. For the implementation of the Gambling Bill, the Joint Scrutiny committee has added some more recommendations. The guidance related to the new licensing Act has been put forward. The Department for Culture, Media and Support has published a prospectus for tourism development and has put forward recommendations for taking up World Anti Doping Agency code.

A winning hand

Article Abstract:

The gambling industry in the UK is in for a major overhaul but there have been vociferous protests from clubs because the owners have permission for only three jackpot machines on their premises but there will an increase in the number of casinos after the abolition of the Permitted Areas act. Public opinion is divided, however, as many feel that UK will become a land of gamblers but there are still others who feel that the changes will mean more leisure options for young and old alike.
