The big picture

Article Abstract:

A new generation of movie theaters, called megaplexes, has become immensely popular among Canadians and is revolutionizing the Canadian entertainment industry. These theater complexes can be found nationwide and feature extra-comfortable stadium seating, upscale concessions and ten to 30 screens showing the latest motion pictures. Several of these cinemas have even established impressive arcades and a few feature sit-down bar facilities. These megaplexes are attracting restaurant operators, many of whom are locating units near these movie theater centers.
