The Center Parc's Elevedon forest burnt into ashes on 4th April 2002, since then Martin Dalby became the managing director and took the fire opportunity to develop Center Parc forward. Dalby states that families make up 75 percent of the business and in future, he will focus on giving more facilities like setting up call centers for booking the people.

Article Abstract:

The considerable amount of carbon emissions and global warming contributed by the leisure and travel industries is discussed. The four-step program suggested by the environmental organization Future Forests for a carbon-neutral world is briefly outlined.
