Plastic bags are indispensable in waste collection but a major difficulty they do pose is how best to remove them before waste is to be isolated or processed. Waste collection companies are now offering a variety of equipment and services specifically designed to deal with the plastics removal problem. Companies offering slitting and ripping or grinding and shredding services are described.

Article Abstract:
Grocery wholesaling is expected to grow by 34% by the year 2000. Major differences in profits will exist within the sector, however, between the the independent trader using cash and carry, and the multiple outlets purchasing in bulk with a delivered service. The prospect for own label brands in drinks and chilled foods is good, although small outlets in the grocery sector cannot compete.
