The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) forecasts global travel and tourism industry Gross Domestic Product will grow 2.3% in 2003 despite fears of terrorism and an impending war. Global recovery in travel and tourism jobs is also expected to be up 1.7%. The article looks at WTTC's original industry predictions, its revised predictions and risks to the forecast.
