John Kay has resigned as chairman of the UK consultancy London Economics to take up a directorship at the Oxford University school of management studies. Kay will focus his business skills on promoting the school's management education programme. He believes that business education has a place in the academic world despite many opinions to the contrary. His excellent communications skills will prove invaluable to the project, says Kay.
