Tracksuits, training and technology: a new and more focussed approach is needed for training, which embraces technology and is relevant for the workplace
Article Abstract:
A large proportion of the working population of Europe have redundant working skills and this is in close parallel with sports and recreation in the UK. This is due to the use of modern technology in the workplace and the inability of traditional approaches to training to cope. Westminster College is linking information technology to the industry vocational standards, and has developed a health club on site. The Sports Development Centre is centered on Windows NT Workstations, giving access to up to date technology.
