A new perspective on combat

Article Abstract:

The Army's Aimpoint manufactured M68 CCO (Close Combat Optics) also known as CompM and is issued to soldiers equipped with either the M4 Carbine or the M16A4, both modular weapons systems with flat-top Picatinny rail upper receivers. It is a passive red dot collimator reflex sight, with 26 mm objectives and is powered by a 3-volt lithium battery with a reported relative life of 100 to 1000 hours depending on the intensity settings used for the red dot.

Only a .50 caliber ban? Don't you believe it!

Article Abstract:

Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.) has introduced the '50 Caliber Sniper Rifle Reduction Act' in congress to ban the .50 caliber rifles, as it is dangerous to be in hands of private citizens. The banned rifles with a bore of .5 of an inch include many antique and blackpowder rifles and a number of big-bore rifles owned by hunters of dangerous game.
