Aleutian victims didn't die in vain

Article Abstract:

Attu Island, AK, was invaded by Japanese forces in Jun 1942, and the residents were later evacuated to the island of Hokkaido, Japan, as prisoners of war. Almost half of the island's residents died. Other Aleut villagers were evacuated, and the actions were forgotten in the events of World War II. Those victims should be remembered.
