Article Abstract:

The Glacier Express introduced new amenities in its new Premium panoramic carriages. The new features of the train include additional space in the first class and second class seats, tables with flaps, and seating groups arranged beside panoramic windows so that passengers do not have to sit beside the window frame. The train ride and the many scenic places along the way are discussed.

Article Abstract:

Paris' Gare de l'Est is the chosen terminal for the new TGV Est trains. TGV Est network reduces train travel time by one-third to one-half between 20 destinations in France as well as between Paris and 10 destinations in Germany, Switzerland and Luxembourg. The new Est line broke the speed record on April 3, 2007 by reaching the top speed of 357.2 mph.
