Are these pills safe?: controversy over antimalarial drug

A class suit is set to be filed against Roche, makers of the antimalarial drug Lariam, by some 300 UK travelers. The aggrieved parties argue that the drug induces hallucinations, seizures and serious mood swings. However, Lariam is still being prescribed in the US.
