Big apple pols try to take a bite out of gun owners

Article Abstract:

New York's Mayor Michael Bloomberg joined the anti-gun mayors of Chicago and Los Angeles urging them to oppose the 'Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act'. The politicians should recognize that ordinary law-abiding citizens must value their lives and introduced a resolution objecting to NRA's presence at the 2004 Republican National Convention in the Big Apple in August 2004.

Ohio becomes latest Right-to-Carry States

Article Abstract:

Legislation was signed on January 8, 2004 by Governor Bob Taft whereby law-abiding citizens of Ohio could carry firearms for their protection. About two-thirds of Americans live in Right-to Carry States and statistics reveal that the violent crime rate is lower in such states.
