Bunny tales
Article Abstract:
A former presidential writer tells of his job as the Easter Bunny mascot during the 1994 White House Easter Egg Roll. The tradition traces back to the early 1800s at the suggestion of Pres Madison's wife. Today, the tradition imposes certain rules on mascot behavior, including no talking and no kneeling.
