The July 13, 2002 lightening that ignited Oregon's Klamath mountains burnt the Siskiyou national forest, perhaps the most diverse among the world's temperate forests. The environmentalists fear that the Biscuit fire salvage plan will do more harm than good.

Crews sue over bug sprays; in-flight pesticides still an issue

Pilots and flight attendants have filed class action lawsuits against major pesticide manufacturers. They claim that pesticides which are sprayed in airplanes cause illnesses to flight crew members.
