Chicago citizens are advised to take comfort in the knowledge that in their city of Midwestern moderation and conservatism, where there is no rapid appreciation of house prices, there is also no danger of real estate hazards. Tabular charts are presented listing the houses put up for sale, and the percentage of increase or decrease in average sale prices in different periods.
