Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a method for routing phone calls via the Internet by breaking the voice signal into small data packets that is similar to the way an e-mail or a Web page is sent. The VoIP that requires Internet connection has the same cost of calling regardless the place from where the call is made.
