Congress votes for safety and privacy, against gun tax

US Pres Bill Clinton's attempt to use gun control efforts as camouflage for the Monica Lewinsky scandal failed. The Senate overwhelmingly approved legislation to improve gun safety, protect gun owner privacy and rebuff a partisan, unauthorized gun tax.
