Denali's quiet side

Article Abstract:

Denali National Park is very crowded during summer and more than one-quarter million people visited the park in 2004. In order to avoid the crowds, Denali National Park and Preserve should be visited during winter, which is a northern Serengeti of bears, wolves, moose, Dall sheep and caribou and a place that is home to the tallest mountain in the continent.

Southeast rises

Article Abstract:

The experiences of camping in the hills above Eielson Air Force Base U.S. are discussed with regard to an earthquake that struck during the camping trips in Alaska. The island seemed to be rising faster during the earthquake than anywhere else on the planet that felt like a slow elevator ride to the sky.
