Dig Afognak!
Article Abstract:
The Dig Afognak program offers vacationers the opportunity to make their vacation both a travel and learning experience. The archaeological site is in Afognak Island, 20 miles north of Kodiak, Alaska. Volunteers of the program help experts look for artifacts from the Alutiiq culture set in the dense rain forest of the island.
