Emerald isle

Montserrat is among the most tranquil of the Caribbean islands and it attracts relatively few tourists. The British dependency has a long Irish history, and its dominant physical features are its forested mountain ranges and its black sand beaches. A trip there is described.

The islands of the Caribbean were once the domain of numerous pirate ships that looted passing vessels for treasure, often sinking them. To this day there are still many treasure hunters in the region, who follow leads to find buried treasure both on land and at sea.
