Article Abstract:

A fire broke out in a house in Ambler, AK, burning it to the ground. The loss was even greater in such harsh wilderness, where living conditions are difficult. Neighbors were kind enough to take in the family, but they had lost what little they had.

Sheefish are an Arctic whitefish, commonly weighing 20-30 lbs, that are found in only a few dozens rivers in Alaska, Canada, and Siberia. A fishing adventure is related, and sheefish behavior and tackle tips are discussed.
