Firearms accidents at all-time low...again

Article Abstract:

According to statistics from the National Center for Health Statistic and the National Safety Council, firearm accidents and fatalities from firearm accidents are at an all-time low. Incidence of firearm accidents decreased by 42 percent between 1989 and 1998, and it is estimated that they may have dropped another 13 percent in the following year.

New Beretta Gallery and gift enhance National Firearms Museum

Firearms manufacturers Beretta USA and Benelli USA have pledged $1 million to the National Rifle Association of America, in order to celebrate Beretta's 475th anniversary. The money will be used to establish The Beretta Endowment and The Beretta Gallery at the National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, Virginia.
