Flat-screen envy

Article Abstract:

Television viewers are spoilt for choices thanks to a huge number of flat-screen, plasma, LCD televisions available in the market but the lesser said about the prices the better. The wide variety of choices does not mean that making a decision would be easy, as one has to negotiate through a mind-boggling array of combinations before getting to the right television and for all the efforts, prices may crash within days of purchase.

Aviva Kemper, a filmmaker whose mother survived the Holocaust, is producing a film about Jewish baseball star Hank Greenberg, who played most of career with the Detroit Tigers. The film has been 11 years in production. She discusses how the idea came to her and what it took to get the funding to make the film.
